Sustainable Resilient Built Environment

The 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Resilient Built Environments (SRBE 2027) is organized by the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, India, and will be held on 22–23 January 2027. The conference is organized in collaboration with School of Architecture and Built Environment, Deakin University, Australia and Hanoi Architectural University, Vietnam along with MAHE constituent institutions, Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH) and the Manipal School of Health Professions (MCHP).

SRBE 2027 brings together academicians, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share knowledge and address current challenges in the built environment. The conference focuses on sustainability, resilience, and human well-being, with an emphasis on environmentally responsible design, inclusive development, and climate-responsive approaches.

The conference discussions will highlight the role of Biophilia as nature-based solutions, in governance and smart technologies in shaping future-ready cities. Emphasis will be placed on improving environmental quality, enhancing resource efficiency, and promoting healthier and more inclusive urban environments. The conference encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration to support informed decision-making and innovative solutions. It aligns with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aims to contribute to building sustainable, resilient, and future-ready built environments.
